Yvonne has been Chief Executive of Irish Lights since 2011. Irish Lights delivers an essential navigation safety service around the coast of Ireland, protecting lives, property and the marine environment.

Yvonne previously worked in the Marine Institute as Director of Strategic Planning and Development. She has extensive experience in marine policy, strategy, research, development and the delivery of operational services at sea.

She led the development and implementation of the national Sea Change Strategy 2007-2013,
