Twitter Policy 

Our Ocean Wealth Twitter presence is managed by the Marine Institute in conjunction with Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (“the operators”) on behalf of the inter-departmental Marine Coordination Group using the twitter account @OurOceanWealth.

If you follow us, you can expect tweets covering some or all of the following:

  • Press Releases from Departments’ marine-related activities and Ministerial speeches
  • Information on activities and events related to Harnessing Our Ocean Wealth

Who we follow

If you follow us, we will not automatically follow you back. We will follow other Irish Government Departments and any agencies of the Department with a presence on twitter as well as some accounts run by European Institutions. Accounts of relevance to the Our Ocean Wealth may be followed at the discretion of the Marine Coordination Group Bureau. Following such accounts does not imply an endorsement of any kind.
