Marine Biotech Firms to Benefit from EU Support

SMEs along the western seaboard are set to benefit from a one million euro EU Initiative aimed at helping small firms in the Marine Biotech sector to grow and develop internationally.

The Ryan Institute – Marine Biotechnology Coordination Unit, at NUI Galway, in partnership with WESTBIC are partners in 'AtlanticBlueTech', a transnational Interreg project aimed at helping small firms along Atlantic regions of Europe develop innovative research and development collaborations to take advantage of opportunities from the Blue Economy.
